Total Arch Retraction with MARPE, Nonextraction
This girl(12Y2M) presented crooked upper ant. teeth, large overjet & overbite and Slight lip protrusion. At first I did MARPE. and then lower Arch DBS was done. After Maxillary expansion, Upper Arch DBS was done. Right after leveling and algnment I did ceph. superimpositon. I decided didnt extract premolars. Upper Total Arch was Retracted by using MIs.
Are you sure to decide nonext modality?? This kinda borderline case, It was tough to choose ext tx or non ext.
I always put a lot of thought into choosing tx method.
The most important thing is always soft tissue!!! LET’S check it out
