The case of the day! This patient was presented skeletal class II Malocclusion with severe lower arch crowding, lip protrusion and gummy smile! I designed 4 premolars extraction and retracted upper ant teeth intrusive backward direction! And I planned mandibular autorotation for better profile! It took 2Y3M. A lot of upper ant teeth intrusion was done by using MIs! She had a good smile arc and well balanced profile! And last but not least ! To make more functional occlusion! it is important to keep a certain inclination of incisors to occlusal angle! This patient had already right inclination of upper ant teeth though, I extracted both 1st premolars so it is difficult to maintain good incisors inclination!
