Her cheif complaints were lip protrusion and crooked teeth! At starting point she was 10Y10M which was right before her maximum growth spurt! I HAD to decide ext or non-ext modality! It was preeety tough decision so I wanted to have therapeutic diagnoses for her! Firs of all I expanded maxilla with hyrax even though she didn’t have posterior crossbite! Based on recent survey, skeletal class II patient had enough basal arch but upper posterior teeth linguoversion tendency so They didn’t need to expansion just need dental expansion though! But I didn’t agree I think class II patient especially who is dental claas II Div 1 patient definitely needs maxilla expansion Afer that I monitored her mandibular responses I decided to opt non extraction modality! Using four upper interdental microimplants I retracted total upper arch intrusive backward direction! LET check these out!
