Gummy smile and severe lip protrusion treatment case.
This young girl presented severe lip protrusion and gummy smile. She was 14Y9M. I used several MIs. esp upper 2 MIs was located inter premolar root area. I designed high line of force to intrude upper INCISORS. She had lip incompetency also. so I needed to intrude upper molars either.
when we treated this kind of case which there’s no crowding. We have to focus on keep upper INCISORS torque maintained.
