Camouflage treatment of skeletal class II with mandibular deficiency and lip protrusion
He<36Y5M> sought to orthodontic treatment due to lipprotrusion and obtuse chin neck angle!
He showed different malocclusion between skeletal and dental. He appeared skeletal class II malocclusion with mandibular deficiency. In contrast he showed dental class III. That meant the treatment was very challenging.
It took 3Y to finish. It’s not normal treatment duration for me.
I would say! This case was little bit difficult to finish.
Control of the anterior vertical dimension especially for high angle patients during treatment inhibits the increase in anterior facial height and even allows mandibular autorotation too.
This kinda mandibular response is very beneficial for treatment of lipprotrusion.
