Last weekend, I wanted Chinese food for lunch. I found a flyer for a Chinese place in my house. I studied the menu, and called up the restaurant. I ordered two noodle dishes and sweet and sour pork. They told me it would take a while because they were backed up. I decided to wait anyway. When the food arrived, I felt famished, so I ate right away. After eating, I rinsed off the dishes. Then I left them outside the door.

Many restaurants in Korea deliver. Some restaurants hire people to deliver their food. Others use independent delivery services. These services have become so widespread, it’s safe to say that almost any food can be delivered. Consumers use various food delivery apps these days. They can make payments via the apps, and register their address in advance. It’s really convenient. It’s much less of a hassle to order food, and you can also see in real time the ETA for your food.
