I clean the floors in our house about twice a week. First, I run the vacuum to get rid of dust. Then, I use a mop to wipe up the floor. Oil gets on the kitchen floor when I cook, so I pay special attention to that part. If there is any oil left, I use wet naps with soap. The bathroom floor is tiled, so I hose it down. There is a lot of dust and stray hairs on the bathroom floor, so I clean it often.

나는 잡안의 바닥을 일주일에 두 번 정도 청소한다. 일단 잔공청소기릍 돌려 먼자를 제거한다. 그리고 나서는 막대가 달린 물걸레로 바닥을 꼼꼼히 닦는다. 요리할 때 가름이 튄 부엌 바닥은 특히 신경 써서 닦는다. 기름기가 아직 남아 있으면, 비누 성분이 있는 물티슈를 이용한다. 화장실 바닥은 타일로 되어 있어서 물을 뿌려서 청소한다. 화장실 바닥은 먼지와 머리카락이 많아서 자주 청소를 한다.

A long time ago, we used to sweep the floors with a broom. But now, we use vacuum cleaners to clean the floors. They suck up dust very easily, so cleaning is a breeze. Plus, there are wireless vacuum cleaners these days. We don’t have to plug them in. The wires don’t get tangled up, so they are much more convenient. Even better, there are robot vacuum cleaners. They are equipped with sensors and Al, so they can clean the floors themselves. They show that technology has come a long way.

예전에는 빗자루로 바닥을 쓸던 시절이 있었다. 그러나 지금은 진공청소기를 이용해서 바닥를 청소한다. 아주 쉽게 먼지를 빨아들여서 청소가 매우 간편하게 끝난다. 또한 요즘에는 무선 청소기들이 나와서, 플러그를 꽂을 필요가 없다. 선이 엉키거나 꼬이지 않아서 훨씬 편리하다. 더 편리한 것은 로봇 청소기다. 센서들과 인공지능을 탑재하고 있어서 스스로 알아서 바닥을 청소할 수 있다. 이러한 청소기들은 기술의 비약적 발전의 한 예로 볼 수 있다.
