Korea has very diverse geographical features. It has a lot of coastal areas because it is surrounded by the ocean on three sides. People can visit beaches for leisure whenever they want to. In the country’s interior, there are many mountain ranges, rivers, and lakes. 70% of the country’s land area is covered in mountains. Many large rivers flow through the heart of major cities. There are natural lakes as well as man-made lakes and reservoirs.

한국은 정말 다채로운 지형적 특징올 가지고 있다. 삼연이 바다로 둘러싸여 있어서 해안 지역이 많다. 원하면 언제든지 바닷가로 놀러갈 수 있다. 내륙에는 산맥, 강. 호수가 많다. 국토 면적의 70% 가 산지다. 대도시의 중심부를 가로질러 흐르는 큰 강들이 많다. 천연 호수도 있고, 사람이 만든 안공 호수나 저수지들도 있다.

I recently went for a hike in the mountains. The mountain air felt bracing, because I hadn’t gone hiking in a while. When I reached the summit and looked down, I felt like a million bucks. A few months ago, I went on a short weekend holiday to a lake. The place where we stayed had a great view. I walked around the lake and enjoyed the serene atmosphere. I also watched people enjoying water sports on the water.

촤근에 산에 등산을 하러 갔었다. 오랜만에 가는 등산이어서 산 공기가 상쾌하게 느껴졌다. 산 정상까지 올라가서 아래를 내려다보니 기분이 정먈 좋았다, 몇 달 전에는 호숫가로 짧은 주말 여행읕 갔었다. 우리가 묵은 숙소는 전망이 정말 좋았다. 호숫가 근처를 산책하며 평온한 정취를 만끽했다. 물 위에서 수상 스포츠를 하는 사람들도 구경했다.
